Production Operative

Role overview

iRecruit Personnel are currently recruiting for reliable Production Operatives to work with a busy manufacturer team, supporting assembly, packing, and production-line output across a range of sites. This role follows a rotating weekly shift pattern—one week you work 6am–2pm, the following week 2pm–10pm.

Key responsibilities

• Working on production lines to meet daily output and quality targets
• Assembly, packing, labelling, and basic machine operation after training
• Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting defects or line issues
• Following work instructions, standard operating procedures, and health and safety requirements
• Keeping workstations and the production area clean, tidy, and organised
• Supporting colleagues and supervisors during peak periods and changeovers

What we're looking for

• Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and repeat tasks safely
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work agreed shifts
• Willingness to learn new processes and work as part of a team
